This original monotype print is sold as READY TO FRAME, with a mat and foam core backing board - total size 11" x 14". The opening and the actual size of the artwork is 8" x 10".
Monotype printing is a fascinating marriage between the world of painting and printing. Each monotype is a one-of-a-kind print. I start with painting an image on a plexiglass plate, which is then placed on a press. Paper is run through the press pulling color and impressions from the plate, creating a unique work of art.
