Divertimentos - are mine small informal pieces of artwork. They are mostly lighthearted and created to please and amuse viewers, although sometimes they contain peculiar messages concealing symbols. Most of my divertimentos depict scenery or events encountered during my travels. This small abstract painting is inspired by Santa Fe colors.
I borrowed the term divertimento from music, because I like what it represents: " .... an instrumental composition in several movements, light and diverting in character ..." and thatï¿¿s exactly what my visual divertimentos are.
