This artwork is more representational than the rest of the pieces created for SMFA fundraiser - Proof of Purchase 2014, although it is still highly textured multilayered painting. Acrylic paint, inks, charcoal, oil paint, latex paint, gloss medium and gel were used to achieve this elaborate layered texture.
This piece depicts hostility of the modern urban environment as an unfit place where children can grow up. The title borrows lines from the poem 'Only Chaos To Climb' recited by Gerard Depardieu in the movie Green Card.
