Watercolor on acid free cold press 100% cotton paper
This large watercolor still life is painted on Strathmore Gemini, traditional "old world" watercolor paper, made of 100% cotton fibers. I love to work on this tough and resilient surface which can take a lot of scrubbing and harsh manipulation. This paper will resist yellowing and will not deteriorate with age.
The subject for this watercolor is based on still life I set up originally for a photograph called "Yellow Mellow".
