Acrylic and enamel paint on a watercolor paper
This original painting is sold with a white mat - total size 11" x 14". The opening and the actual size of the artwork is 8" x 10".
Divertimentos - are mine small informal pieces of artwork. They are mostly lighthearted and created to please and amuse viewers, although sometimes they contain peculiar messages concealing symbols. Most of my divertimentos depict scenery or events encountered during my travels. This small abstract painting is inspired by the interesting colors of Texas nature.
I borrowed the term divertimento from music, because I like what it represents: " ...an instrumental composition in several movements, light and diverting in character... " and that's exactly what my visual divertimentos are.
